Personal data we collect

When you book a tour: full name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country of residence, the tour, date and number of travelers by category (for example adult or youth), and any comments you choose to add to your booking.

When you contact us by WhatsApp, email or phone: your name, your number or email address and the content of the conversation.

Payment information: online card payments are processed by Stripe. This website does not receive or store your full card number or security code; we only receive the information needed to confirm and manage your payment, such as its status, amount and a payment reference.

Browsing information: anonymous statistics about how the website is used (pages visited, approximate location, device and browser). See “Cookies and measurement” below.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data on this website. If you book for minors, we only ask for the information needed for the booking (for example, their category or age).

Why we use your data

Primary purposes (needed to provide the service)

• Create, confirm and manage your booking.
• Send you the confirmation, the booking details, reminders and any change, by email or WhatsApp.
• Process payments, refunds and payment disputes.
• Share with the tour operator or facility the information needed to deliver the activity you booked.
• Answer your questions and provide customer service before, during and after your tour.
• Comply with legal and tax obligations, including issuing an invoice if you request one.

Secondary purposes (not needed for your booking)

• Invite you to review the tour you took.
• Send you offers, news and satisfaction surveys.
• Prepare statistics to improve our website and services.

If you do not want your data used for secondary purposes, write to [por confirmar: correo para temas de privacidad] with the subject “Secondary purposes”. Saying no will not affect your booking.

Who we share your data with

We only share your personal data in these cases:

• Tour operators and facilities that deliver the activity you booked (for example, the boat, park or beach club), with the information they need: names, number of travelers, date and a contact phone.
• Stripe, which processes online card payments.
• Service providers that work on our behalf: the online booking platform, email delivery, website hosting and WhatsApp (Meta) when you choose to write to us there. They may only use your data to provide their service to us.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Transfers that are necessary to fulfill your booking do not require your consent under the LFPDPPP. We do not sell your personal data.

Your ARCO rights

You have the right to Access your personal data, ask us to Rectify it if it is inaccurate, Cancel it when it is no longer needed, and Oppose its use for specific purposes (ARCO rights). You can also revoke your consent and limit the use or disclosure of your data.

• Your name and an email address or other way to send you our answer.
• A copy of an official ID (or, if a representative makes the request, the document that proves it).
• A clear description of the data and the right you want to exercise.
• Any document that helps us locate your data, such as your booking number.

We will respond within the time limits set by the LFPDPPP. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may contact the competent data protection authority in Mexico.

Cookies and measurement

This website uses technologies that are needed for it to work, such as remembering the language you chose or whether you already saw the WhatsApp chat window.

We also use visit statistics from Jetpack (Automattic) [por confirmar: confirmar si Jetpack Stats sigue activo] to understand how the website is used. These statistics do not identify you by name.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the website may not work as expected if you do.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. Any change will be published on this page with its update date at the top.
